Sir Partha Dasgupta
Economics Expert
Frank Ramsey Professor of Economics at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of St John's College, Professor Dasgupta, specializing in the economics of poverty and nutrition; environmental economics, economic measurement and economics of knowledge.
For his service to economics he was Knighted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2002, he has also been awarded the 2002 Volvo Environment Prize, 2004 Kenneth E Boulding Memorial Award and the 2007 John Kenneth Galbraith Award.
