President of Green Cross International, he served as a Deputy Spokesman and Advisor to President Mikhail Gorbachev. With a Doctorate in Political Science and History from Russia, he served as International and Media Director for the Gorbachev Foundation. He also advises the Club of Madrid and the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates.
He champions the cause of Green Cross along and its various national organizations to foster a sustainable, secure and just future for all.
